This is how proud we are to be in the final 9 of the innovation category!

We were having lunch and couldnt resist the temptation of having our photo taken with the giant change it awards poster ! HAHA

This is the picture taken from the email we were sent recently about the awards ceremony.
We are so nervous and SO EXCITED!
It looks so posh doesnt it, thank you to everyone who has helped us get to this point.

Having lots of fun campaigning!

As you can see from this photo, we love having fun in the team. This is us sitting on the stairs in school waiting for our teacher to finish taking the photo!

She took AGES to get "the right photo" to suit our campaign but we LOVE this photo because we are all having lots of fun and laughing....this summarises our whole project.

Our teacher is going to be upset that this particular photo got on the blog but shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Reflecting on what we took from the training day

As you can see the still represents, us campagining hard and selling our magazine to customers!
We have had lots of time to reflect on the training awards day that we attended back in febuary, it was brilliant fun and would like to thank everyone involved.
As you can see we were involved in lots of activities such as: making a still other students using a giant photo frame.
Hopefully more selling will take place and eventually branch out to the local community !

Working Hard and Nerves!

We have been working very hard to finish off some aspects of the campaigning, ready for the awards ceremony. We have been eyeing up the competition and are really impressed with some of the other ideas.

We have tried to contact a number of local businesses to get them involved in the project itself and attract attention to how much of a positive impact this first edition has had on the school.

We intend to publish our second issue in another months time, this is taking a bit longer than expected becuase of our summer exam preparations and completing coursework for other projects !

However we are obviously going to say that this has been the MOST enjoyable project as we hav been able to make a difference and really get creative about improving Thamesmead and the lives of young people today.

It has also helped us think about our careers once we leave school!!!

Interviewing eachothers thoughts.....

We spent a bit of time during school preparing some video footage, interviewing each other and teachers to find out their opinions on the magazine project! As you will hopefully find out, we are giggling but this just shows you how much fun we really had and as a result of working together, we are a stronger team!
